Project Overview

Title: "Strengthening Jammu and Kashmir's Infrastructure: Corrosion-Resistant and High Strength 6082 T6 Aluminum Alloy for Bridges and High Structures"
Funding Agency: Ministry of Mines, Government of India
Objective: To design and develop advanced 6082 T6 aluminum alloys for durable bridge and structural applications.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical & Materials Engineering.

Desirable Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience in metallurgical processes such as anodizing of alloy materials.

  • Strong background in material characterization techniques.

  • Evidence of research publications in high-impact journals.

  • Valid GATE score preferred.

  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
