Rossell Techsys Soars on Landmark Boeing Contract for T-7A Red Hawk Aircraft.
BENGALURU, India – Shares of Rossell Techsys surged to a record high after the Indian aerospace manufacturer signed a long-term contract with Boeing to produce electrical panel assemblies for the T-7A Red Hawk trainer aircraft. The deal signals the company's expanding role within Boeing's global supply chain and bolstered investor confidence in India's aerospace manufacturing capabilities.
The Bengaluru-based firm secured an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that allows for the production of up to 1,200 shipsets through 2033. The market reacted strongly, with the company's stock jumping 11 percent to hit an intraday high of ₹832. Trading volumes reached 2.7 times the 30-day average.
Expanding Partnership with Boeing
This new contract for electrical panel assemblies builds on a previous IDIQ agreement Rossell Techsys holds for wire harness assemblies on the same aircraft platform. The back-to-back awards demonstrate Boeing's growing confidence in the Indian supplier.
"This contract further strengthens our long-standing partnership with Boeing, which began in 2013," said Rishab Gupta, Managing Director of Rossell Techsys.
Rossell Techsys has been involved with the T-7A Red Hawk program since its engineering and manufacturing development stages. The company, which has earned two "Supplier of the Year" awards from Boeing, also supports other key defense platforms for the aviation giant, including the F/A-18 Super Hornet, AH-64 Apache, and P-8 Poseidon. To date, it has delivered over 160,000 critical assemblies.
Financial Turnaround and Expansion Plans
The contract news follows a strong financial turnaround for the company. In Q1 of the current fiscal year (FY26), Rossell Techsys reported a net profit of ₹3.3 crore, a significant recovery from a net loss of ₹4 crore in the same period last year. Revenue surged 94.3 percent year-over-year to ₹87.22 crore.
Reflecting this momentum, the stock has gained approximately 74 percent since the start of the year. To support the increased production, the company plans to invest ₹1.5 crore to add 15,000 square feet of production space at its Bengaluru facility, which is expected to be operational by December 2025.
The expansion aligns with broader industry projections that India's aerospace sector is poised to capture up to 10 percent of the global supply chain market within the next decade. Boeing alone sources $1 billion annually from over 300 Indian supplier partners.
