NOTIFICATION
Walk-In Interactions for Engagement of Adhoc Faculty
(AY: 2025-26)
National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh intends to conduct Walk-in Interactions to engage faculty on an ad-hoc basis in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering as specified below.
The essential qualifications are as follows:

**The applicants who have submitted their Ph.D Thesis are also eligible to apply. In such case they are treated as equivalent to M.Tech.

Remuneration:
- Consolidated amount of Rs.70,000/- per month with Ph.D. qualification
- Consolidated amount of Rs.55,000/- per month with M.Tech qualification
Note: The engagement is purely temporary and will be terminated by 31.05.2026.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The candidates are required to bring the filled in application form (enclosed in pages 4-6 of this notification) and original certificates pertaining to educational qualifications starting from matriculation and onwards, **Caste certificate / EWS/ PwD certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable) along with a set of self-attested photocopies of the certificates and a recent passport size photograph.**
2. Engagement of Adhoc Faculty will be based on lecture demonstration and Interaction in the presence of a duly constituted Selection Committee.
3. The lecture demonstration will be in the chalk and talk mode on a black/white board. Candidates are informed to come prepared with any topic from one of the core subjects of UG syllabus of NIT Andhra Pradesh, which can be accessed through https://nitandhra.ac.in/main/ug.php.
4. No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the lecture demonstration and Interaction.
5. The posts notified above are on an Ad-hoc basis and are purely temporary.
6. Upon selection, the candidate has to join the Institute immediately
7. All correspondences will be sent through e-mail only.
8. Except where the contract shall automatically terminate and/or 30 days before the completion of the service of the contract, the contract of appointment can be prematurely terminated by either party by giving at least 30 days notice period.
9. Candidates appearing for the screening process for the engagement of Ad-hoc faculty 2025-2026, are informed to bring the following documents for Certificate verification, without which they will not be allowed for lecture demonstration and interaction:
a. Signed hardcopy of the enclosed Application form (will be collected from the Candidate by the verification officer) with a recent passport sized color photograph affixed.
b. Aadhar Card or any photo identification card issued by Govt. of India (along with a self-attested photocopy of the photo identification card)
c. Original and one self-attested photocopy of the following documents:
- Class X worksheet
- Diploma/Class XII worksheet
- Category certificate (if applicable) (OBC-NCL / EWS certificates must have been obtained on or after 1-April-2025)
- UG Consolidated worksheet and UG degree certificate
- PG Consolidated worksheet and PG Degree certificate
- Ph.D. degree certificate/ provisional certificate (if available)
- GATE/NET scorecard (if available)
- Experience certificates from each of the past employers (in case of any prior experience if any)
d. First pages of publications in Journals/ Conferences/ Books/ Book Chapters/Patents (filed/published/granted) (if available)
e. NoC from the present employer if employed in Govt. or quasi-Govt. organizations/Departments. NoC should certify that the Organization has no objection in permitting the candidate ___ (Name), who is presently employed in the position of ___ (Designation) by ___ (Name of the Organization) to attend the screening process for the engagement of Ad-hoc faculty in NIT Andhra Pradesh. If the candidate is selected then he/she will be relieved by following due procedures.".
10. The self-attested photo copies of the above cited documents will be verified against the original documents and will be collected by the verification officer along with the NoC (if applicable). Any falsified document or information if found, will lead to a strict action being initiated, including but not limited to cancellation of the candidature.
11. Upon availability, accommodation at the institute guest house will be provided to candidates by the officials concerned in the Attihi Guest House or the institute hostel at the time of arrival on a payment basis for a maximum of 03 days.
12. Food facility will be available either in the canteen or hostel mess on a payment basis.
13. Candidates are informed to come prepared to stay for late hours if required.
14. For any further queries, candidates are requested to contact the Head of the Department concerned.
15. Canvasing in any form will lead to cancellation of the candidature.
