The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at NIT Durgapur is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant (RA) to work on a project funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
Position Details:
- Post: Research Assistant (RA) – Code: RA_POST A
- Number of Posts: 01
- Project Title: Capacity building for human resource development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and related Technology)
- Project ID: NITD/SRCC/NC/ECE/2023/03
- Duration: 2 years or till project completion (whichever is earlier)
Essential Qualifications:
- M.E./M.Tech./MS/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum CGPA of 7.5 or 70% marks from a recognized institute/university
Domain Knowledge Required:
- Mechanical mechanisms
- Structural design
- Solid Mechanics
- CAD/CAM
- MAV/UAV Domain
Additional Preferences:
- Valid GATE score in relevant disciplines
- Prior project experience in the desired domain
Fellowship & Benefits:
- ₹30,000 per month
- Accommodation as per institute norms
