The Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Sribhumi, invites applications for the position of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) under the Sankalp Hub, Mission Shakti scheme. About Mission Shakti and Sankalp Hub
Mission Shakti is a Government of India initiative designed to empower women through safety, security, and support-centered programs. The Sankalp Hub is the implementation wing within the district responsible for ensuring effective program outreach, monitoring, and service delivery to grassroots communities.
The Multi-Tasking Staff will provide essential administrative, logistical, and field support to enable the smooth functioning of the scheme.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily administrative and clerical duties at the Sankalp Hub.
- Handle office documentation, filing, and record keeping of program-related activities.
- Provide support to field teams during awareness campaigns, outreach activities, and women empowerment drives.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and training sessions organized under Mission Shakti.
- Manage incoming and outgoing official correspondence.
- Perform physical tasks such as handling materials, setting up venues for events, or assisting in transportation of resources.
- Support specialized tasks assigned by the District Social Welfare Officer as required.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Minimum educational qualification: Class 10 pass (Madhyamik or equivalent) from a recognized board.
- Age: 18 to 35 years as on the date of application (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and differently-abled candidates as per government norms).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Prior experience in office support roles, preferably within government or development projects.
- Familiarity with local language(s) spoken within the district.
- Basic knowledge of computer operations (MS Office, internet browsing, and email).
Skills Required
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to take on multi-dimensional tasks.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to field and office responsibilities.
Job Type and Duration
- Type: Contractual, full-time.
- Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and continuation of the scheme.
Salary and Allowances
- Consolidated remuneration per month: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 (depending on qualifications and experience).
- Additional allowances as per government norms (if applicable).
Location
Office of District Social Welfare Officer, Sribhumi, with field visits across the district as required.
Selection Process
- Screening of applications based on educational qualification and eligibility.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a skill test and personal interview.
- Final selection will be made on the basis of merit, subject to document verification.
