Eligibility Criteria
Head of Department (HoD) in Education
- Postgraduate degree in Science/Mathematics/Social Science/Commerce/Languages
- M.Ed. degree
- Ph.D. in Education
- 10 years teaching experience for Professor rank or 8 years for Associate Professor in a teacher education institution
- Any other requirement as per UGC
- Preferred: Diploma or degree in Educational Administration or Leadership
Assistant Professor (Liberal Disciplines & Pedagogy)
- Postgraduate in concerned subject with at least 55% marks
- B.Ed. with at least 55% marks and equivalent grade
- Must have NET or SET or Ph.D. in Education or relevant subject as per UGC
- Preferred: M.Ed./M.Ed. with specialization in Elementary Education; Ph.D. in Education
Assistant Professor in Educational Studies
- M.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks
- NET or SET or Ph.D. in Education or concerned subject as per UGC
- Preferred: Master's in Psychology/Philosophy/Sociology/allied subject
Physical Education & Art Education
- Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.), or
- Postgraduate in performing/visual arts with at least 55%
Counsellor
- Should be an Assistant Professor in Education with Guidance and Counselling as a specialization in M.Ed.
- Or, part-time Counsellor with proper qualifications in guidance & counselling
