Kannappa (2025) is an epic South Indian (Telugu-language) mythological film released on June 27, 2025. The movie was directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, scripted by Vishnu Manchu, and produced by Mohan Babu.

Plot
The story focuses on Thinnadu, a fearsome tribal warrior and an atheist by nature. While living with his tribe, he discovers a Shiva Lingam in the forest.
Though unversed in rituals, Thinnadu begins to worship Lord Shiva in his own innocent, unconventional way—offering meat and water with complete sincerity.
His devotion grows so strong that when the Lingam bleeds, Thinnadu sacrifices his own eyes to heal it.
At the moment Thinnadu is about to give his second eye, Lord Shiva appears, bestowing divine grace and renaming him Kannappa.
