EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE) 2025

The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has announced the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE) 2025 to fill 7,267 teaching and non-teaching posts in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across India.

Important Dates:

• Online application submission: 23 October 2025 (until 11:50 PM)
• Exam dates for Tier I & II: Will be notified later on the NESTS website

Application Fee:

• For Female, SC, ST, PwBD candidates:
•   All posts: ₹500 (only processing fee)

• For General/OBC/Other candidates:
•   Principal: ₹2500 (₹2000 application fee + ₹500 processing fee)
•   PGT & TGT: ₹2000 (₹1500 application fee + ₹500 processing fee)
•   Non-teaching staff: ₹1500 (₹1000 application fee + ₹500 processing fee)

Fee must be paid online via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Teaching Posts:

• Principal: 225 posts
• Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs): 1,460 posts
•   Subjects: English, Hindi, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science
• Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs): 3,962 posts
•   Includes TGTs (main subjects), Regional Language Teachers, Music, Art, PET, and Librarian

Non-Teaching Posts:

- Female Staff Nurse: 550 posts

- Hostel Warden: 635 posts

- Accountant: 61 posts

- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): 228 posts

- Lab Attendant: 146 posts

PwBD Reservation:

Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities is applicable as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Functional requirements and eligible disability categories are specified for each post.

• Keep ready:
•   Educational certificates
•   Caste/PwBD certificate (if applicable)
•   Valid photo ID
•   Debit/credit card or net banking details for fee payment

General Information:

• The exam will be conducted in Tier I and Tier II.
• Admit cards and exam city details will be available for download from the NESTS website.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the exam.
