The Directorate of Health Services, Assam, has released a notification for the recruitment of 191 Grade-III (Non-Technical) posts across three cadres. Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens from 12th to 21st September 2025.

Health Educator – 78 posts
- Unreserved (UR): 40 posts
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 5 posts
- Scheduled Tribe – Plains (ST-P): 8 posts

- Tea Tribe/Adivasi: 1 post
- Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): 3 posts (1 Blindness/Low Vision, 1 Deaf/Hard of Hearing, 1 Locomotor Disability)
Junior Assistant / Account Assistant cum LDA – 72 posts
- Unreserved (UR): 36 posts
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 6 posts
- Scheduled Tribe – Plains (ST-P): 7 posts
- Scheduled Tribe – Hills (ST-H): 4 posts
- OBC/MOBC: 18 posts

Educational Qualification:
All posts require:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- A 6-month diploma in Computer Applications.
Pay Scale:
- Health Educator: Pay Scale ₹14,000–₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹7,600
- Junior Assistant / AA cum LDA: Pay Scale ₹14,000–₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200
- Basic Health Worker: Pay Scale ₹14,000–₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹5,600
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
- UR: 18–40 years
- OBC/MOBC: 18–43 years
- SC/ST: 18–45 years
- PwBD: 18–50 years
Eligibility Conditions:
- Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate from Assam.
- Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate.
- Caste/PwBD certificates mandatory for reserved categories.
