Job Description
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Constables (Executive) in the Delhi Police. This is a massive recruitment drive to fill 7,565 vacancies for male and female candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain law and order within the jurisdiction of Delhi.
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent crime and ensure public safety.
- Control traffic and ensure smooth flow of vehicles.
- File reports, investigate minor crimes, and assist senior officers.
- Provide assistance to the public and attend to emergencies.

- Total Vacancies: 7,565 Posts
- Male Candidates: 6,100 Posts
- Female Candidates: 1,465 Posts
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- Age Limit (as of July 1, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories.

The selection process will consist of four stages:
1. Computer Based Examination (CBE)
2. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT)
3. Medical Examination

Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be paid as per Level 3 of the 7th Pay Commission.
