CSIR UGC-NET December 2025 Registration Start
NEW DELHI, September 25, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the examination schedule for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET for December 2025. According to a public notice released today, aspiring candidates can submit their online applications starting September 25, 2025.
The CSIR-UGC NET is a national-level examination conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities and colleges.
Key Dates and Schedule:
- Online Application Period: September 25 to October 24, 2025 (until 11:50 PM)
- Last Date for Fee Payment: October 25, 2025
- Application Correction Window: October 27–29, 2025
- Examination Date: December 18, 2025
The exam will be conducted in two shifts—9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM—as a Computer Based Test (CBT) with a duration of three hours. It will be offered in both English and Hindi.
