Parshwanath Vidyapeeth (PV), Varanasi, an approved external research centre of Banaras Hindu University, having its campus adjacent to BHU, invites applications for the following posts from students/scholars of Philosophy, Jainology, and Sanskrit/Prakrit to join its ambitious expansion plans.
Qualification:
M.A./NET/Ph.D. or equivalent in Jainology, Jaina Philosophy, Prakrit, Philosophy, Sanskrit, and Ancient Indian History & Culture.
Other requirements:
1. RA: The candidates should have basic experience in research in any Institute of Higher learning. Fluency in English, knowledge of Jainism, and proficiency in computer use are desirable, along with a command of Hindi or Sanskrit. Non-Ph. D. candidates will have the option to work towards a Ph.D. while serving at PV.
Salary: Rs. 25,000/=.
2. Project Fellow: The candidates should have basic experience in research in any Institute of Higher learning. Command over Sanskrit/Prakrit/Jainology with fluency in English and computer working knowledge is desirable.
Salary: Rs. 40,000/-
3. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Graduate with any discipline with
at least 5 years' working experience in Computer in any Institution of repute. Knowledge of Electronic Media is desirable, along with being skilled in correspondence.
Salary: Negotiable
General: The selected candidate has to work at the PV campus in Varanasi. Initially, the post shall be on a contract basis for two years and is likely to be made permanent on successful completion of the contract period. Please send your application by 30th September 2025 to:
