NIT Durgapur Recruitment 2025 JRF/SRF and Research Associate posts
A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 9th September, 2025 at 10.00 a.m. in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Durgapur for the post of the JRF/SRF and Research Associate I, II, and III in the DST sponsored project SRCC Ref. No.: NITD/SRCC/CK/EE/2022/13. & NHPC Sponsored R & D Project, LoA Ref. No. NH/R&D/2024/06, Dated 29th August 2024, SRCC File no. NITD/SRCC/CK/EE/2024-25/10.
The details of the post are as follows;
1. Required Qualification: BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in EE/CSE/ECE/EIE or similar circuit branch. The desirable areas of research experience are Partial Discharge Monitoring, Ultra high Frequency sensors and High Voltage Test Technique, Programming: C#, .NET, Embedded C/C++, FPGA: Verilog, Electronics: Analog, Digital System Design, Microcontroller Programming, PCB Design etc.
2. Fellowship Amount /Month: DST circular No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022, Date: 26th June, 2023 (Annexure I) & also as per SR/S9/Z-05/2019 Date: 10th July, 2020 (Annexure II).
Total Number of Posts: (A&B) 03 (three)
A. Senior research fellow (01) in the DST sponsored project as per the DST circular No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022, Date: 26th June, 2023(Annexure-1)
B. Other technical positions (02) in the NHPC sponsored project as per the circular no. SR/S9/2-05/2019 Date: 10th july, 2024(annexure-II)
Reporting Time: 10:00 a.m. on 09th September, 2025
Venue: Office, Electrical Engineering Department, NIT Durgapur

(1) The above position is purely contractual, and is for the duration of the DST sponsored project (5 months) & NHPC sponsored project (31 months) only.
2) Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular appointments in this institute.
( (3) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
